an online application, is the
recommended filing and payment method for employers.
My Iowa UI Online
Tax System
Iowa
Workforce Development is launching a new online tax system
called My Iowa UI. This system allows employers doing business
in the State of Iowa to electronically file the quarterly
Employer’s Contribution & Payroll Report and to pay Unemployment
Insurance Contributions online much like the current
Unemployment Insurance Tax System (UITS). My Iowa UI also
allows 3rd Party Filers (Agents) to manage an
employer’s unemployment tax account with proper authorization.
The new
system will be available to all employers for 2nd quarter filing
2010.
All
employers will receive a packet in the mail containing detailed
registration instructions. These packets will go out the first
two
weeks of June 2010.
If you have
any questions regarding My Iowa UI, you may contact the Help
Desk by calling 888-848-7442,
or by emailing the Help Desk at
iwduitax@iwd.iowa.gov.
Representatives are available from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday
through Friday.
Take a look
at the My Iowa UI brochure for more
information.

My Iowa UI Online Tax
System
The Presentation
We are holding a 2 hour PowerPoint presentation about the Iowa
Workforce Development My Iowa UI online tax system. This will
give you an opportunity to see actual screens of the system
prior to the system roll out. We will share with you the
important functions available to users and allow time for a
question & answer session. The presentation can be customized to
other time allotments if necessary.
My Iowa UI
Iowa’s Unemployment Insurance Tax Bureau is getting a new online
filing system, called My Iowa UI. My Iowa UI gives employers,
accountants and other 3rd party filers the power to
manage their tax account securely and conveniently. The
development of My Iowa UI was based in part on feedback we have
received from staff, employers and other 3rd party
filers. This new system will improve on the functionality of
the Unemployment Insurance Tax System and replace a system that
is approaching 40 years of age. We are excited about My Iowa UI
and the benefits it provides to Iowa employers!
