You can use this
system if you:
Worked in the state of Iowa in the last 18
Served in the U.S. Military Services in the last 18 months and have not filed a claim with another state.
Are a laid off federal employee and have
worked in Iowa in the last 18 months.
If you are no longer working or working
substantially fewer hours.
Applications can be submitted any time during the
first week of unemployment, but should be filed before Friday noon
for best service.
If you are receiving vacation or severance
pay from your last employer, it is suggested that you contact your

During the process of filing your unemployment
application you need to have the following information available:
