Seven Rivers Tri-State Region
States: Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa
Counties: Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque,
Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek.
Overview:
In May 2008, the Seven Rivers Tri-State region received their RIG
funding. Their focus will be to asset map their strengths and develop
the areas in which they can best serve their business community. The
goal is to assure they are meeting the skilled workforce demands now and
into the future.
The leadership group for this region consists of members from groups
such as workforce development organizations, educational institutions,
training providers, employers, chambers of commerce and economic
development agencies from across the region.
This group will develop a strategic regional plan that focuses on
aligning talent development to meet the demands of the 21st century
economy.
