Youth Program

The Youth Program of the Workforce Investment
Act (WIA) provides opportunities for assistance in both academic and
occupational learning; developing leadership skills; and preparing for
further education, additional training, and eventual
employment.
Youth must be between the ages of 14-21; meet
income, citizenship, and Selective Service requirements; and be
experiencing barriers to their educational and employment goals.
