IowaWORKS services are available at local Access Points.  Hundreds of access points are available across the state. The department has dedicated workforce professionals ready to assist from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday or by calling 866-239-0843.

Basic Computer Skills:  Learn how to use programs like Microsoft Word, How to find what you want on the internet, How to create e-mails and more!

Mock Interviews:  if you have attended the Interviewing Skills Workshop and would like to work one-one-one with staff in refining your interviewing skills then this is the class for you. 

Résumé Building & Cover Letter Writing:  We will help you create your own résumé and cover letter after you learn the following:  How your cover letter helps you get a foot in the door, what today's employers look for in every résumé and cover letter, key questions every résumé should answer, how to apply online, what to leave off your résumé & more!
