Iowa Central Community College is a two-year public comprehensive community college. Its open-door policy provides countless opportunities for higher educational pursuits. Iowa Central serves the community in a multitude of ways offering the following:
Adult and community education for those interested in adult basic education and a wide variety of educational endeavors.
Iowa Central’s principal center is located in Fort Dodge with others in Eagle Grove, Webster City and Storm Lake. All four centers offer comprehensive Arts and Science transfer programs along with Applied Science and Technology programs. More information is available on the Iowa Central

Buena Vista University, located in Storm Lake, offers more than 35 academic majors and 15 pre-professional programs. Students benefit from comprehensive graduate and undergraduate education balancing traditional liberal arts studies with innovative professional experiences.
1,400 undergraduate and graduate students are on campus with an additional
1,375 students at 17 branch sites throughout Iowa. Many community college graduates in North Central and Northwest Iowa complete their bachelor’s degree at Buena Vista in cooperative programs.
