"Ah, The Good Life" is the
theme for the
September 12 through September 20,
2009.
Iowa Workforce Development will be
taking
applications for jobs at the fair.
All job seekers are welcome to apply, and
referrals will be made based on
employer openings.

will be open
September 9 through September 20
and is
located on the north side of the
Information Booth, just south of the Grandstand
at the corner of 5th Street & 2nd Avenue.

Application Requirements
To apply:
Applications will
be taken at the Iowa Workforce
Development office
at 217 West 5th Street, Spencer,
Iowa
or by calling 712-262-1971 Extension 123.
Beginning September 9 applications will be taken
on the fairgrounds. There is no guarantee of
work.
All applicants 17 years old and under:
In
order to obtain a certificate of age, the applicant will
need to go to the Iowa Workforce Development office
at 217 West 5th Street in Spencer with a
STATE
ISSUED birth certificate or PASSPORT. Applicants
will also need to provide
proof of Social Security number.
All applicants less than 16 years old:
In order to obtain a work permit, go to the Iowa Workforce
Development office at 217 West 5th Street in Spencer with
a
STATE ISSUED birth
certificate or PASSPORT when
applying. Applicants will also need to provide proof of
Social Security number. A parent or guardian will
be
required to be present to
approve the work hours.
