Older Job Seekers ~ Do you need a job?

The AARP Foundation WorkSearch Program can help you sharpen your skills, obtain training,
and find a job. And, if you're 55 or older and meet income qualifications, we may be able
to pay you an hourly wage while you train through our Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).

How the SCSEP Program Works:
An integral part of the AARP Foundation WorkSearch Program, the Senior Community Service Employment
Program (SCSEP) helps you gain skills, work experience, and self-confidence so that you can succeed in your job search.
Based on your needs, abilities, and interest in learning new skills, AARP staff will:
  • Assess your job skills and interests
  • Help you set job goals
  • Connect you with training to learn new skills
  • Help you update your resume and learn job search skills
  • Connect you to employers who value mature workers
  • Provide you with temporary income while you train

Your job is to get a job-our job is to help you succeed. Best of all, this program is available free of charge.
