Public Notice
This notice serves to inform interested residents of Des Moines, Henry, Lee and Louisa Counties that the Chief Elected Official Board and Regional Workforce Investment Board are developing the Regional Workforce Development Customer Service Plan for the Iowa Region 16 service area. This plan is available March 28th, 2013 for public comments for 30 days and will be effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2017.
The plan incorporates services from the Workforce Investment Act Title 1 Adult, Dislocated Worker and Youth, Wagner-Peyser, PROMISE JOBS, and Trade Adjustment Assistance. This plan also includes the Memorandum of Understanding and the Regional Needs Assessment.
A draft copy of this plan will be available for review commencing on March 28, 2013, at IowaWORKS, 1000 N. Roosevelt Ave., Burlington, IA 52601 or on this website.
