Whether you are coming for a visit or thinking about relocating, there is something here for everyone. Region 16 serves a four county area:
Offices are located in the following cities:
Recreational area highlights: the Mark Twain Refuge, Big Hollow Recreation Area, Lake Odessa, Starr Caves, Snake Alley, and the Mississippi River. Educational opportunities: Southeastern Community College, Iowa Wesleyan College. Annual events: Steamboat Days, Old Thresher's Reunion, Salem Old Settler's Days, Old Fort Madison by Candlelight, and Civil War Days. You may download, print and enter the requested information on these forms prior to visiting your nearest Iowa Workforce Development Center. - If a job listing posted with Iowa Workforce Development requires completion of a "generic" job application, complete this Employment Application and send it to your nearest Workforce Development Center. Be sure to indicate both the employer name and job order number.
