Iowa Workforce Development links employers to a variety of qualified applicants and provides job seekers with access to employment and training opportunities. Some services provided to employers include:

In addition, the Workforce Development Centers have a  tool called Office Proficiency Assessment and Certification (OPAC) which is a premier PC and office skills testing suite. Businesses Linking to Job Seekers
Online Business Directory

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) is offering a new online service for job seekers and businesses in Southwest Iowa. The regional Web site in Region 14, (Creston, Osceola and Red Oak) has new directories of business Web sites to make it easier for job seekers to find out about employer and to assist employers to find qualified workers.

The new service allows a business to link their Web site directly with IWD's web site at no cost. This provides the business with access to thousands of customers and exposure to workers seeking employment. It also makes it easier for job seekers to find out more about a business or apply for employment online. IWD's Web sites receive over 4 million hits per month.

Business interested in listing their Web site on the business directory may submit their web site for consideration at: http://www.iowaworks.org/directory.
