Our offices can assist you in finding  employment, moving up to a better job, filing for unemployment insurance or getting information on the latest wage and  occupational trends in your area.

One way we do this is through Iowa Advantage, which provides Iowans in transition a series of workshops addressing their most immediate needs.  These include dealing with job loss, financial management, applying for financial aid, resume development, job search methods and tips on keeping a job in today’s environment.

Region 11 is located in the heart of central Iowa, with our regional office located at:  430 E. Grand Avenue, Des Moines. (Click link for a map)

You may download, print and enter the requested information on these forms prior to visiting your nearest Iowa Workforce Development Center.

  • Employment Application (PDF) - If a job listing posted with Iowa Workforce Development requires completion of a "generic" job application, complete this Employment Application and send it to your nearest Workforce Development Center. Be sure to indicate both the employer name and job order number.

  • Service Application (PDF) - If you are interested in registering for Iowa Workforce Development services, including notification of current and future job openings, please complete this Service Application and send it to your nearest Workforce Development Center.
