The Regional Workforce Investment Board (RWIB) is appointed by the governor in consultation with the Chief Elected Official board. The RWIB plays a leading role in establishing policy for the
region's Workforce Development Center system and oversees the system's service delivery.
Each board has 5 voting members from business and 5 voting members from
labor; shall include one county elected official; one city official; one representative of a school
district; and one representative of a community college.
