Horizons Computer Learning Center of Cedar Rapids, part of

company, combines multiple learning methods for more effective results.
Students enrolled in one of our Career Training Programs earn various
vendor certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, etc.) to validate
their computer knowledge and prepare them for a professional career in
the computer industry. Students also have the benefit of completing an
internship at one of several Companies in Eastern Iowa to provide
real-world experience through job shadowing, mentoring and hands-on task

Grant Wood Area Education Agency, Cedar Rapids, is a regional educational agency serving students K-12. For more information,

Experience
Works (formerly known as Green Thumb) pays class tuition for age and income eligible persons
needing education for employability purposes. While taking classes,
clients are paid hourly wages for each hour in class. Classes may be
taken at educational institutions or private vendor training. To be
eligible person must be 55 years or older.
