Race on in and promote your business at the 4^th Annual Northeast Iowa Job Fair and Conference that is being held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Echo Valley Speedway on Hwy, 18 in West Union, IA. The job market today and in the future is very competitive, and participating in a job fair is an efficient and cost effective technique for reaching qualified candidates. More than 240 job seekers attended the 2007 job fair. “It was fabulous! We had 50 people stop by, we had 20 applications returned, and we did two interviews on site! We hired 5 from the job fair, but to get our name in the public was more than worth it!” raved Edie Slifka of the Pinnacle Financial Group. Other businesses were equally pleased with the job fair. Ninety-nine percent of the business participants agreed that the job fair was well organized and the facilities were comfortable. Eighty-four percent were pleased with the number of job seekers attending the job fair. 

New this year is an accompanying employer’s conference, just prior to the Job Fair. The Conference and Job Fair registration package includes: promotion of your business & employment opportunities along with internship options for college students, listing in the business directory, as well as two complimentary registrations to the employer’s conference, and one complimentary lunch.  The registration package costs $175.00.  Registration must be received before March 1, 2008 for your company to be included in all print advertising. You can cancel before March 1, 2008 & receive a 75% refund. After this date there will be no refund and you will be billed full price.  Any person wishing to attend just the conference may do so for a fee of $15.00 per person.
