The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Iowa’s I-JOBS Program, the Emergency Public Jobs Initiative and others will provide Iowans new and exciting job opportunities throughout the state that will jump start Iowa’s economy and open new doors to compete in the 21st century. The federal economic recovery plan is expected to create or save 3.5 million jobs across the nation over the next two years. Jobs created will be in a range of industries from clean energy to health care, with over 90% in the private sector.
