Employer Workshop: “How Did I Lose?” Five Common Mistakes made by Organizations with Unemployment Insurance
Dubuque, IA: Employers Council of Northeast Iowa (ECI), in partnership with IowaWORKS, Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) and Dubuque Area Labor Management Council (DALMC), are offering an exciting workshop titled “How Did I Lose?” Five Common Mistakes made by Organizations with Unemployment Insurance.
So your organization lost an unemployment insurance case … how can you better prepare for and win more appeals? Recognize and remediate the five top mistakes made by organizations in unemployment hearings. Understanding the importance of required documentation, timeliness and procedural issues will assist your organization in preparing more successful appeals and preserving valuable resources. This program will be beneficial for Human Resources personnel, managers, business owners and those who represent employers or employee in unemployment cases.
The guest presenter is Joseph L. Walsh, Chief Administrative Law Judge with the Iowa Workforce Development Appeals Bureau. This workshop will be offered on the following date and time:
