Iowa Works Office in Dubuque Announces New Hours of Operation

Dubuque, IA: Effective Monday, March 8, 2010, the Iowa Works one-stop integrated office in Dubuque, Iowa will begin new hours of operation. The office, located on the second floor of the NICC Town Clock Center for Professional Development at 680 Main Street will be open from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of each week and from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm on Wednesdays. Due to the high volume of unemployment claims at this time, claimants are asked to arrive at the office by 3:30 pm daily.

We encourage you to use our online services at our website at www.iowaworkforce.org. Through this website, job seekers can search job listings, file for initial unemployment as well as ongoing weekly claims, and register for our job matching system. This website can be accessed from any Internet capable computer

Iowa Works also offers an array of services for businesses, including recruitment and placement assistance, testing and assessment services, human resource consultation, online resources, and educational programs for employers.
