Iowa Workforce Development Washington Office Reopens in a New Location

Washington – Iowa Workforce Development is excited to announce the reopening of the Washington office. The new location is 1201 Industrial Park Drive. We will be open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. beginning January 5, 2010.

“We’re excited to reopen the Washington office,” indicated Iowa Workforce Development Director Elisabeth Buck. “Workforce related services are in critical need during this time and the Washington office serves a large number of Iowans.”

Iowa Workforce Development provides resources for all Iowans regarding their employment needs. Visit one of 55 field offices across the state for personalized job search assistance; attend Iowa Advantage classes for increasing job search skills and interviewing techniques; and utilize the Resource Center to develop your résumé and search for jobs. The state jobs database is available at www.iowajobs.org. The user-friendly system allows jobseekers to search by keyword, location and more. Iowa Workforce Development provides a number of services 24/7 online at www.iowaworkforce.org.
