“You’re Hired!” ...Strategies for Successful Job Seeking

If you’re beginning your job search, thinking about a career change, or have been frustrated with your job search results, don’t miss this GREAT opportunity for job seekers!

“You’re Hired!” … Strategies for Successful Job Seeking will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm at NICC Town Clock Center for Professional Development and Iowa Works at 680 Main Street in Dubuque, Iowa. The event will include a keynote presentation by Tom Barton with Barton Wealth Management. His topic will cover how to embrace this period of transition to feel less overwhelmed and frustrated and more capable of embracing the excitement that a good job search can create. Human Resource professionals in the community will speak about résumé building, interview tips, skills identification and building and job search strategies. There will also be the opportunity to sign up for 1:1 mentoring appointments to critique your resume, participate in a mock interview, or build a resume on Wednesday, September 16, 2009.
