Gregg Kreamer, Iowa Workforce Development Disability Program Navigator will be serving the Region 12 area four days a month from the Sioux City office.

Gregg has an extensive background in Workforce Development and Human Resources management. Educationally, Gregg holds a bachelors degree from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Drake University.

The objective of the Program Navigators is to reduce the unemployment and underemployment rate for Iowans with disabilities and serve as a resource for employers with regard to employment of persons with disabilities. Gregg will assist people with disabilities in “navigating” through the challenges of obtaining and retaining employment.

Gregg is also able to assist businesses and employers by connecting them with programs and services that support the employment of persons with disabilities. In addition, he will work with businesses to apply for and obtain tax credits and tax deductions related to the employment of persons with disabilities and help them in obtaining funding to provide assistive devices for employees needing accommodations. He is also available to assist employers with questions or issues involving the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and workers compensation regarding persons with disabilities. For further information, scheduled Sioux City dates or questions, please contact Gregg at Iowa Workforce Development, 2508 4th Street, Sioux City, IA 51101, or call 233-9030.
