Sioux City, IOWA – Get the latest information on Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action issues from Margaret Kraak. Siouxland Employers’ Council and Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) will be hosting a seminar for employers to learn about EEO / AA laws and practices. The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2006, from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. This training session will be conducted at Pioneer Bank Conference Center, 4700 Singing Hills Blvd in Sioux City. All employers, human resource employees, accounting, payroll and other staff members are invited to attend.

Margaret Kraak is the OFCCP District Director for Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Omaha districts. She has been with the Department of Labor, OFCCP since 1987. Margaret is a frequent speaker and trainer before employer and business groups.

During the presentation, Margaret will discuss:

• Internet applicant issues
• OFCCP updates
• Affirmation action plans
• Audits• EO survey
