Iowa Workforce Development has a publication that gives you guidelines on what’s legal and what’s not. The publication “Successfully Interviewing Job Applicants” can be downloaded from our site as a pdf file, or just ask your local Iowa Workforce Development office for a copy. Each region also has a Business Services Representative, or BSR, who can provide one-on-one assistance with your recruitment needs. Just contact your local office and ask for the BSR.
