Do I have a right to get a pay stub?
Yes. Your employer is required every payday to provide you with a statement showing the hours worked, wages earned, and deductions made from the employee’s paycheck. Hours worked information is not required for exempt employees. There is no requirement that this regular pay stub contain “year-to-date” information. The pay stub law does not change other recordkeeping requirements employers may have under state or federal law.
