Question :
If I am offered employment, what wage do I have to accept while I’m drawing Unemployment Insurance?

Answer :
You are required to seek and accept suitable work. A job offer is considered unsuitable if the wages are below the following percentages of your gross average weekly wage, as calculated by Iowa Workforce Development:
a. 100% if work is offered during the first five weeks of your claim;
b. 75% if work is offered from the sixth through 12th weeks of your claim;
c. 70% if work is offered during the 13th through 18th weeks of your claim and
d. 65% if work is offered after the 18th week of your claim.
