Answer :
Your claim is being reviewed to determine if you are eligible to receive benefits. The employers listed on your monetary record and your last employer have been notified of your unemployment insurance claim and have 10 days by Iowa employment Security Law in which to file a protest. If no protest is received, payment will be released for any weeks that you have reported properly. If an employer protest is entered before the end of the ten days, your unemployment insurance claim will be placed into “Contest” status and you will be notified in writing of a fact-finding interview. If an employer protest is entered before the 10 days or if you indicated you quit or were discharged from your last job, your unemployment insurance claim will be placed into “Contest” status. |
