Question :
What is my PIN number?

Answer :
A PIN number is a personal identification number that identifies you to our automated system. Iowa Workforce Development staff does not know anyone’s individual PIN, or personal identification number, nor do we assign PIN numbers to claimants. You decide when you call in to report your first weekly claim. Your PIN must be 4 numbers; but not numbers in a row (1234) or the same number 4 times. If you have forgotten your PIN, notify your local Iowa Workforce Development office to have your PIN reset. Use a number that will be easy for you to remember as you will need to use the same PIN every weekend you call in your claim.
