Kevin Robinson at an ECI Presentation
The Lakes Area Employers' Council
of Iowa meet on September 17th in Spirit Lake for a presentation by
Kevin Robinson concerning the characteristics of the various
generations in the workforce and what motivates them to succeed.
There were 22 people in attendance at the meeting. Mr. Robinson is
associated with Common Cents Coaching.
David Sullivan, Senior Special Agent,
U.S. Dept of Homeland Security, presented a
workshop for 34 attendees titled "The I-9 Form, Immigration Reform
Compliance &
Enforcement Sweeps” for the Southwest Employers' Council of Iowa on
August 13, 2008.
The Department of Homeland Security issued a new
Form I-9 and revised Handbook for Employers: Instructions for
Completing the Form I-9 in November 2007. The new I-9 is to be used
for all new hires as well as all re-verifications. Topics discussed
at the workshop included:
