Public Notice
This notice is provided to interested
parties that the Iowa State Workforce Development Board has developed a
modification to its comprehensive strategic two-year State Plan for
Title I of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 and the Wagner-Peyser
Act. This plan incorporates services for Title I Adult, Dislocated
Workers, and Youth and Wagner-Peyser participants.
Revisions to the State Plan include technical corrections, a statement
of intent to develop a statewide workforce innovation plan, and changes
in the governance structure in Region 11.
This draft plan is available for a 30-day public comment period
beginning May 12, 2008. A copy of the modified draft plan may be
