What is an accommodation?  An accommodation is a modification or adjustment that makes an action more accessible to an individual.  An example of an accommodation is an adjustable table or an automatic door opener.  Assistive technology is a form of an accommodation which can be defined as adaptive products or devices that increase or improve the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities.
