The Iowa Fringe
Benefit Profile collects information on benefits
currently being offered by employers located within the
State of Iowa and defined regions. This information
provides community leaders, policy makers, employers and
employees guidance to forecast future benefit needs, address
retention/recruitment issues, determine appropriate policy
issues, and serve as another tool in the economic
development tool box. |

Frequency |
The profile is
conducted every two years for statewide and regional
reporting. This is a fee-for-service program;
therefore, information by region will be available on an
as-requested basis, contracted through the regional
development organizations.

Scope |
Statewide
information is available in PDF format. Regional information
is
available in the same format if appropriate response rates
are obtained by industry or employment size. Some
industry groupings within a particular region may,
therefore, not be reportable if the response rates breach
confidentiality clauses. |

Format(s) |
Executive
summary/marketing pieces are printed in hard copy for
statewide and regional overviews, and industry-specific
information if there is enough reportable data.
Statewide information is posted on the
Internet; Regional information is provided to community/regional development groups for posting on their
Web sites. |
