nine-page pamphlet that provides teachers with information about the changes in the work world and ideas on how to use labor market information products in the classroom. Most of the products identified are available free from the State of Iowa. There are ideas for the following classes: English, Math, Business, Economics, Social Studies, Independent Living Skills, Home Economics, Journalism, Art and Graphic Arts. The emphasis is on enhancing the skills being taught, while helping students learn about career options. |
